ब्रह्मा विष्णु सदाशिव, अर्द्धांगी धारा॥
ब्रह्मा विष्णु सदाशिव, अर्द्धांगी धारा॥
Victory to Lord Shiva, who is Omkara. Brahma, Vishnu and Sadashiva are manifestations of his form, and Parvati is his other half.
एकानन चतुरानन, पंचानन राजे॥
हंसानन गरुड़ासन, वृषवाहन साजे॥
हंसानन गरुड़ासन, वृषवाहन साजे॥
The one-faced Shiva, four-faced Brahma, and five-faced Sadashiva are resplendent. They ride on swan, eagle (Garuda) and bull respectively.
दो भुज चार चतुर्भुज, दसभुज अति सोहे॥
त्रिगुण रूप निरखता, त्रिभुवन जन मोहे॥
त्रिगुण रूप निरखता, त्रिभुवन जन मोहे॥
With two arms, four arms and ten arms, they look very beautiful. Seeing their three-fold form, the people of the three worlds are enchanted.
अक्षमाला वनमाला, मुण्डमाला धारी॥
त्रिपुरारी कंसारी, कर माला धारी॥
त्रिपुरारी कंसारी, कर माला धारी॥
They wear garlands of rudraksha, forest flowers and skulls. The destroyer of Tripura (Shiva) and the destroyer of Kansa (Krishna) hold rosaries in their hands.
श्वेतांबर पीताम्बर, बाघम्बर अंगे॥
सनकादिक गरुड़ादिक, भूतादिक संगे॥
सनकादिक गरुड़ादिक, भूतादिक संगे॥
They wear white clothes, yellow clothes and tiger skin. They are accompanied by Sanaka and other sages, Garuda and other divine beings, and ghosts and other supernatural beings.
कर के मध्य कमण्डल, चक्र त्रिशूलधारी॥
सुखकारी दुखहारी, जगपालन कारी॥
सुखकारी दुखहारी, जगपालन कारी॥
They hold water pot, discus and trident in their hands. They give happiness, remove sorrows and protect the world.
ब्रह्मा विष्णु सदाशिव, जानत अविवेका॥
प्रणवाक्षर में शोभित, तीनों एका॥
प्रणवाक्षर में शोभित, तीनों एका॥
Only the ignorant see Brahma, Vishnu and Sadashiva as different. In the syllable Om, all three are united as one.
त्रिगुणस्वामी जी की, आरती जो गावे॥
कहत शिवानंद स्वामी, मनवांछित फल पावे॥
कहत शिवानंद स्वामी, मनवांछित फल पावे॥
Whoever sings this aarti of the Lord of three qualities, says Shivananda Swami, obtains the fruits of their heart’s desires.
कपूर गौर सुंदर छवि, मौलिन गगन बसेरा॥
भाल चंद्रमा राजत, गले रुंड माला॥

Fair as camphor with beautiful radiance, dwelling in the sky, with the moon adorning his forehead and a garland of skulls around his neck.
जटा में गंग बिराजे, लिए त्रिशूल डमरू॥
डाकिनी जोगिनी संगे, बाजत ताल मृदंग॥
डाकिनी जोगिनी संगे, बाजत ताल मृदंग॥
The Ganges adorns his matted locks, holding trident and damru, accompanied by Dakinis and Yoginis, with drums playing in rhythm.
नंदी भृंगी गण संगे, बाजत डमरू घंटा॥
धूप दीप नैवेद्य, अरपित करत अनंता॥
धूप दीप नैवेद्य, अरपित करत अनंता॥
With Nandi, Bhringi and other attendants, as damru and bells sound, endless offerings of incense, lamps and food are presented.
शिव शंकर भोलेनाथ, प्रभु सबके हितकारी॥
भक्तन की पीर मिटावत, प्रभु दुख दूर करो॥
भक्तन की पीर मिटावत, प्रभु दुख दूर करो॥
Lord Shiva, the simple-hearted one, benefactor of all, removes the pain of devotees. O Lord, please remove all sorrows.
त्रिविध ताप हर शंकर, स्वामी त्रिविध ताप हर शंकर॥
जन्म मृत्यु दुख डारो, स्वामी जन्म मृत्यु दुख डारो॥
जन्म मृत्यु दुख डारो, स्वामी जन्म मृत्यु दुख डारो॥
O Shankar, remover of three types of sufferings, O Lord, remove the pain of birth and death.
काल कूट जिन खायो, प्रभु भक्तन हित धारी॥
तुम बिन कौन खबर ले, स्वामी तुम बिन कौन खबर ले॥
तुम बिन कौन खबर ले, स्वामी तुम बिन कौन खबर ले॥
The one who consumed the deadly poison for the sake of devotees, who else but you will take care of us, O Lord.
पार्वती के प्राण प्यारे, गिरिजा के प्राणाधार॥
सदा करो कल्याण हमारा, जय जय शिव ओंकार॥
