Victory to the Lord of the Universe, O Master! Victory to the Lord of the Universe!
You remove the troubles of your devotees in an instant.

जो ध्यावे फल पावे, दुख बिनसे मन का ॥
सुख सम्पति घर आवे, कष्ट मिटे तन का ॥
ॐ जय जगदीश हरे…

One who meditates attains the fruits, mental sorrows are destroyed.
Happiness and wealth come to the home, physical afflictions are removed.

मात-पिता तुम मेरे, शरण गहूँ मैं किसकी ॥
तुम बिन और न दूजा, आस करूँ मैं जिसकी ॥
ॐ जय जगदीश हरे…

You are my mother and father, whose refuge shall I seek?
Besides you, there is no other in whom I can place my hope.

तुम पूरण परमात्मा, तुम अन्तर्यामी ॥
पारब्रह्म परमेश्वर, तुम सब के स्वामी ॥
ॐ जय जगदीश हरे…

You are the complete Supreme Soul, you are the inner witness.
You are the Supreme Brahman, the Supreme Lord, you are the master of all.

तुम करुणा के सागर, तुम पालनकर्ता ॥
मैं मूरख खल कामी, कृपा करो भर्ता ॥
ॐ जय जगदीश हरे…

You are the ocean of compassion, you are the sustainer.
I am a foolish, wicked person of desires, have mercy O Master.

तुम हो एक अगोचर, सबके प्राणपति ॥
किस विधि मिलूँ दयामय, तुमको मैं कुमति ॥
ॐ जय जगदीश हरे…

You are the one imperceptible Lord of all life.
How shall I, of poor intellect, meet you, O Merciful One?

दीनबन्धु दुखहर्ता, तुम रक्षक मेरे ॥
अपने हाथ उठाओ, द्वार पड़ा तेरे ॥
ॐ जय जगदीश हरे…

Friend of the poor, remover of sorrows, you are my protector.
Lift me with your hands, I lie at your door.

विषय विकार मिटाओ, पाप हरो देवा ॥
श्रद्धा भक्ति बढ़ाओ, सन्तन की सेवा ॥
ॐ जय जगदीश हरे…

Remove sensual modifications, take away sins O Lord.
Increase faith and devotion, and service to the saints.

तन मन धन सब है तेरा, स्वामी सब है तेरा ॥
तेरा तुझको अर्पण, क्या लागे मेरा ॥
ॐ जय जगदीश हरे…

Body, mind and wealth, all are yours, O Master, all is yours.
What is mine to offer you, when everything belongs to you.

कर दो मुझको कृपा राम, भव सागर से तारो ॥
वन्दन करता तेरा मैं, चरणन में डारो ॥
ॐ जय जगदीश हरे…

Bestow your grace upon me Ram, help me cross the ocean of existence.
I offer my salutations to you, place me at your feet.

मैं शरण गही तुम्हारी, जगत पिता भगवान ॥
तुम्हारी कृपा से सब सुख, पावत हैं ज्ञान ॥
ॐ जय जगदीश हरे…

I have taken your refuge, O Universal Father, Lord of all.
By your grace, all attain happiness and wisdom.

आरती जगदीश की, जो कोई नर गावे ॥
कहत शिवानन्द स्वामी, मनवांछित फल पावे ॥
ॐ जय जगदीश हरे…

Whoever sings this aarti of the Lord of the Universe,
Says Shivanand Swami, they shall attain their heart’s desires.
